Our donors are the lifeblood of what we do. Every life we improve starts with an act of generosity that’s completely voluntary. You don’t have to help. That’s why it’s so amazing when you do. There’s three ways you can get involved – you can donate money, donate goods or volunteer.
When funds allow, we purchase, fill and transport shipping containers of aid directly to those most in need. These containers are packed full of donated items that will help improve life for people on the ground. There’s 74 cubic metres of life changing capacity in each sea going container – everything from hospital beds to wheelchairs, construction supplies to first aid.
Once landed, their useful life is only just beginning. These shipping containers go on to offer shelter to some of the poorest people of this still recovering nation. They are converted into temporary housing solutions that offer a much-needed upgrade for the thousands of displaced still living in the cardboard cities that sprang up after the 2010 earthquake.
Our volunteers regularly tell us how rewarding and enriching it is to work alongside our Haitian team members, delivering vital relief works exactly where they are needed. Volunteers gain a wealth of memories, experience and often a whole new perspective on life.
If you think that volunteering might be for you, please take a moment to review our General Terms and Conditions. Here you will find a host of useful information on items like vaccinations, visa requirements and fundraising for your trip. Why not send us a message and a member of our team will get back to you directly.
